This is the second part of Home Away From Home - a mini series about finding my own space while staying in different places and struggling with apartment hunt, grocery shopping, commuting, and every other mundane stuff that is not at all associated with the millennial hashtag Wanderlust.
I'm starting a mini-series of blog posts where I will be sharing funny and not-so-funny experiences at the places I have lived across. Here is the first post on the city I'm still getting acquainted with.
Last year, during this time, I had gone to India to visit my family and do some soul searching in Benares, on the banks of the Ganges. Apart from being one of the holy cities in India, Benares is a glutton's paradise. My soul was satisfied after the week long trip. My stomach was NOT. This post is to remind myself about my bad day at 35,000 feet in the air.
